Idol Worship

An Idol Worshipper is one who is guilty of breaking the very first commandment of God: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” Ex.20:3-6.
In contrast, a True Worshipper is one who worships Almighty God and HIM ALONE in Spirit and in truth and in the beauty of holiness, through Jesus Christ His Son in the Holy Spirit. Jn.4:24. All other forms of worship and rituals performed would be unacceptable unto Almighty God.
The Jews were found guilty of breaking the first commandment of God by worshipping the gods of the heathens after they were miraculously delivered by the hand of God from Egyptian bondage. They were consequently severely punished by God for these abominable acts of idol worship.
It would also be surprising to learn that most people who call themselves Christians are in fact committing the act of idolatry. They pray to and worship Jesus Christ the Son of God as Almighty God; claiming that Jesus Christ is God indeed worthy of all praises and worship. In fact, there is no biblical proof that Jesus Christ himself the Son of God claimed to be Almighty God worthy to be worshipped as the Almighty God. If he did he would have been found guilty also of breaking the first commandment of God. God did not lie and cannot lie when He claimed that Jesus Christ is His Only Begotten Son in many scriptural proofs: Mt.3:13-17; Mk.1:9-11; Mt.17:1-6; 2 Peter 1:16-18; and likewise Jesus did not lie when he claimed God to be his Father and God. Jn.20:17; Rev.3:12.
The Roman Catholic organization is also guilty of breaking the first commandment of God by propagating idol worship. The members worship Mary as the mother of God. How can Mary be the mother of God when in fact God created Mary to fulfill the divine role of bringing forth His only begotten Son into the world as our savior? Jn.3:16. They also worship dead saints and images. There is no biblical proof of such a practice which would be in contradiction to the first commandment of God.
The Hindu religion and other religious sects and cults also incorporate into their worship all forms of gods, idols, images, and rituals. These forms of worship, which contravene the first commandment of God, are highly unacceptable to Almighty God. There are millions of different kinds of gods that people worship in these religions, sects and cults all over the world. It is just so much easier to worship the one True God.
Now here is wisdom: THE CREATOR CANNOT BECOME THE CREATURE; NEITHER CAN THE CREATURE BECOME THE CREATOR. “Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.” Psalm 115:4-8.
Almighty God is urgently pleading with all of us, regardless of our religious affiliation, to come before Him with a true heart of repentance and utterly destroy all the idols from our hearts, our homes and our land and to begin a new spiritual life in worshipping Him and Him alone in Spirit and in truth and in the beauty of holiness through His Son Jesus Christ in the Holy Spirit. God in return will forgive us and release upon us, our homes and our land His manifold blessings.

For the Nation: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Psalm 33:12 and “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34.
FLEE FROM IDOLATRY AND STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF GOD!!!
